All of Peter Brock’s record nine wins in the annual Bathurst touring car endurance race have been brought together in this very special boxed set – with more hours of vision assembled in one place than ever before! This exclusive collection includes the entire Seven Sport race day telecasts of seven of his wins spanning 1978 to 1987 and race day highlights taken direct from the Seven Sport telecasts themselves covering his first two wins in 1972 and 1975.
As an added bonus we’ve also dug some sponsor films from the archives that covered those first two wins in ’72 and ’75 to make this set the definitive record of Brock’s unparalleled success in Australia’s most famous motorsport event.
From his breakthrough win in a Torana in 1972 to his privateer success in 1975 and pair of three-peats with the Holden Dealer Team in 1978-1980 and 1982-1984, the set is completed by his ninth and final win against all the odds in 1987 in a race that was also part of the World Touring Car Championship. Brock’s legendary battles with Allan Moffat and Dick Johnson are a major feature of these races from the golden era of touring car racing in the 1970s and 1980s when Bathurst really boomed!
